Data Deletion Instructions
Solace Sites lets business owners connect their Facebook Page so we can display their own content (such as a weekly schedule) on their website. You can disconnect and have your data deleted at any time. Here's how.
Option 1 — Revoke access from Facebook
- Log in to Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Open Business Integrations (or "Apps and Websites").
- Find Solace Sites in the list.
- Click Remove. This immediately revokes our access to your Page.
Once access is revoked, the token we hold stops working and is deleted from our systems.
Option 2 — Email us
Prefer we handle it? Email contact@solacesites.com from the address associated with your account, or with your business name and Facebook Page name, and ask us to delete your data.
- Any Facebook access token stored for your Page.
- Any cached Facebook post content used to populate your website.
- Contact and business details we hold, unless we are required to keep them for legal or accounting reasons.
How long it takes
We process deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We'll confirm by email once it's done.
A note on your website
Deleting your data disconnects the automatic updates. If you'd also like your website itself taken down, mention that in your request and we'll take care of it.
