Solace Sites ("we," "us," "our") designs and maintains websites for local businesses. This policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email contact@solacesites.com.
This policy applies to the business owners who hire us or connect their accounts to our service, and to visitors of the websites we build. We keep the data we handle to the minimum needed to deliver our service.
Business information you provide. When you work with us, you may share your business name, contact details, logo, photos, menu or service information, and similar content so we can build your website.
Facebook Page data (only with your permission). If you choose to connect your Facebook Page, we use Facebook Login to request limited access so we can display your own content on your own website. Specifically, we may access:
We request only the permissions needed for this feature (such as pages_read_engagement). You grant access through Facebook's own consent screen and can revoke it at any time.
We use the information solely to build, operate, and keep your website up to date — for example, reading your latest Facebook post to refresh the schedule shown on your site. That's the whole purpose.
The websites we build are designed to be lightweight. We do not build tracking or advertising profiles of your customers. Any contact a visitor makes (such as tapping a phone number or sending a text) goes directly to the business, not to us.
We store the limited data above securely and restrict access to it. Access tokens are kept only as long as needed to provide the service. We retain your information while you are an active client and delete it when you ask us to, or when you disconnect your account (see below).
You are in control of your data. You can revoke our access to your Facebook Page at any time in your Facebook settings (Settings → Business Integrations), and you can ask us to delete the information we hold. Full instructions are on our Data Deletion page, or simply email contact@solacesites.com.
We use reputable infrastructure providers (for example, Cloudflare) to host the websites we build. These providers process data only to deliver hosting and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
If we update this policy, we will change the date above and post the revised version at this address.
